On Monday, May 1, the LeadingAge WI Board of Directors announced that Jim Orheim accepted the role of President/CEO, replacing long-time President/CEO, John Sauer, who recently retired after a 30+ year career with the organization.

Orheim joins LeadingAge after most recently serving as the Vice President of Global Marketing for the College of American Pathologists, based out of Illinois.

Orheim’s bio states: “Jim is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of progressive leadership experience guiding day-to-day operations of nonprofit and for-profit organizations with a concentration in organizational visioning, strategic planning, implementation, innovation, and team building.”

WHCA/WiCAL welcomes Jim Orheim to his new position, and we look forward to working together to continue the important work of advancing the interests of long-term care providers across the state.
