This week, WHCA/WiCAL and WisCaregiver Careers participated in a second job fair held to assist workers soon to be displaced by the upcoming HSHS closures in Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls.

Staff collected resumes from the participants which are available to members upon request including RNs, nurse trainers, CNA Trainees, and more. Contact VP of Workforce Development, Kate Battiato, at kbattiato@whcawical.org to receive a copy.

Staff also attended the February 7 job fair for the affected workers and have additional resumes from the event to share. Please contact Kate Battiato to receive a copy.

There are currently no additional job fairs organized for the affected workers.  WHCA/WiCAL will be monitoring the situation and will relay any recruiting opportunities that may arise.
