The 62nd Spring Conference and Expo returns to the KI Convention Center & Hyatt Regency Hotel, located in the heart of Green Bay, Wisconsin, on April 10-12. The educational programming provides attendees with modern workforce solutions, innovative ideas on how to do more with less, data and information to handle critical financial matters, and fresh perspectives on post-acute care practices. Each session will take a deep dive into the matters that are urgent and pressing in today’s long term care landscape, while also sharing real-life practicum and implementation tools. This year, we go beyond the what and focus on the how. Attendees will be asked to reflect on their challenges, given opportunities to recharge their minds, and be fully supported to rediscover their strength.

It wouldn’t be a WHCA/WiCAL event without food and FUN! All participants – both attendees and exhibitors – receive an all-access pass to Conference. This includes invitation to attend all networking events. From the casual Opening Night Reception to the Expo to the Dueling Pianos, we hope all of our attendees & exhibitors take time to socialize and enjoy themselves.

Event at a Glance

Wednesday, April 10: The optional/add-on Pre-Conference Workshop will be hosted from 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM. Spring Conference commences at 1 PM with breakout sessions, followed by the April Board meeting. We will close out day one with the ever-popular opening night reception from 4:30 – 7:30 PM. As always, the opening night reception is a casual and fun social event with a hosted keg of Spotted Cow, a cash bar, and plenty of delicious food!

Thursday, April 11: The General Session kicks off day two of conference at 8:30 AM, followed by impactful breakout session. The Expo Hall opens it’s doors at 11:15 AM. Lunch is served and hosted inside of the Expo Hall until 1 PM. Complete that Golden Ticket for your chance to win one of several CASH prizes & visit our exhibitors to enter into their giveaways and door prizes! All prizes, including the CASH, will be awarded during the expo hall hours of 11:15 AM – 1:45 PM. Educational programming starts up again at 1:45 PM and concludes by 4:30 PM.  And then, we bring the FUN! The Piano Guys – Dueling Pianos are back by popular demand! WHCA/WiCAL and our sponsors will host a fun, social event from 5 – 7:30 PM, complete with hosted wine & beer, lots of food, and, of course, the Piano Guys! One $500 CASH prize will be awarded by 7 PM and you must be present to WIN!

Friday, April 12: The Closing Ceremonies will start at 8:30 AM with a hearty breakfast and the ever-popular bloody mary and mimosa bar. Closing remarks from CEO, Rick Abrams, will start at 9 AM, followed by an impactful & informative closing keynote from Jerald Cosey at 9:30 AM. WHCA/WiCAL will be awarding one $500 CASH prize before Jerald takes the stage & you must be present to win!

All educational programming will offer NHA CEs via NAB, and this includes the Pre-Conference Workshop, General Session, and Closing Keynote. Additionally, the Pre-Conference Workshop will also provide 4 hours of continuing education credits to nursing licensees. NEW: 1 CE of continuing education will be awarded to each individual who attend the expo and completes a short five-question survey (housed in Expo Pass).
