WHCA/WiCAL congratulates Wisconsin’s five 2023 Silver Quality Award Winners!

Sponsored by our national partner, American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL), the National Quality Awards Program is a progressive, quality improvement program that is based on the Baldridge Criteria for Performance Excellence.   Participants begin their excellence journey at the Bronze level and are then eligible to progress to Silver and Gold levels.  Bronze award recipients must demonstrate a groundwork for organizational excellence by completing a self-assessment that outlines their priorities and goals.   For 2023, Wisconsin has 11 Bronze Award recipients.

Silver is the second step in a facility’s Quality Award journey.  At the Silver Award level, applicants continue to learn and develop effective approaches that help improve performance and health care outcomes. The Silver criteria provide applicants with a thorough assessment of how their organization works, its effectiveness, and tools for improvement in their approaches. The Silver level gives a clear pathway for recipients moving to the highest honor of recognition, the Gold – Excellence in Quality Award.

It is with great pleasure that WHCA/WiCAL congratulates and presents Wisconsin’s 5 2023 Silver Quality Award recipients!
