During WHCA/WiCAL’s 71st Fall Convention & Gold Partner Expo, Toni Kettner from Superior Health shared information regarding an initiative from the QIOs. This product is an analytic tool that truly gives the facility information on their resident population in REAL TIME.  It is FREE until October 2024. In this environment with continued staffing challenges and trying to maintain quality care, a tool that can give you information at your fingertips and also alert you to resident changes, would be so useful to clinical staff. Real Time Medical Systems (Real Time), a post-acute analytics software solution designed by nursing facilities for nursing facilities, is partnering with Superior Health Quality Alliance (Superior Health) to further enhance the quality of care for the residents we serve. Real Time helps facilities use data from their electronic health record to identify and monitor high-risk residents in real time while reducing paperwork and administrative burden. Real Time also allows for easy identification of coding issues related to reimbursement so that you can maximize your return on investment.

Superior Health will provide 300 skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) access to Real Time through October 2024 at no cost. This access will enhance the quality of care and improve resident outcomes across post-acute skilled nursing facilities by:

• Providing improved infection prevention and control surveillance to decrease hospitalization
• Improving patient safety and decreasing preventable emergency department visits
• Decreasing adverse events for high-risk residents
• Identify high-risk residents and reduce unnecessary hospitalization
• Improving chronic disease prevention, management and treatment
