The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) has set interim rates for all nursing homes for state fiscal year 2024. DHS set rates for the periods of:

• July 1, 2023, through September 30, 2023
• October 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024

All case-mix-indices reflect the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) parity adjustment for both time periods.

All rates have been entered into ForwardHealth and fee-for-service nursing home and hospice claims reprocessed over the Labor Day weekend, with remit to follow shortly.

To see your facility’s individual interim rates:

1. Go to the Myers and Stauffer website
2. Select the green GO TO MCO RATES button

Select the most recent excel document. This spreadsheet shows rates separately for each time period. It also shows the case-mix-indices in effect.
